He's already facing an investigation for improper payments to his wife from a supporter and facing the loss of his Senate seat. How much more can he handle? Perhaps someone, somewhere will finally convince him that the longer he drags this out the more missteps his campaign is likely to make. He may drag out losing the election, but wind up completely killing his political career. Good for us, of course, but bad for him.
